CCTV is a valuable part of domestic and commercial security, giving visibility of activity which would otherwise go unseen. Cameras systems can be designed to act as a visible deterrent to intruders, or discreetly placed to blend into the background environment so that malicious behaviour can be observed and recorded.

Although Infra Red can be used to illuminate nigh-time camera images, best results are seen when they are combined with Security Lighting.
Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) store images for review. They also add key features such as the ability to detect and record visible movement and link these to alarms. They can also be accessed remotely by the user or an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC).
This remote monitoring allows owners and Alarm Receiving Centres to address intruders with warning announcements over a Public Address system to warn them away before damage can be caused.
Total Fire & Security combine Covert and Overt, Static, Dome and Pan Tilt Zoom cameras with Digital Video recording to create highly effective and secure CCTV Detection, Recognition and Identification systems.
